There are no rules for Members because what you believe in is private. You won’t be required to be involved with anything with which you prefer not to be. The first bulleted items below are taken directly from our Certificate of Incorporation. They are sincere objectives that I believe God would want the church to follow to help yourself and others now and also to help you earn a place in Heaven close to God after your physical life is over. If you do not agree to those objectives, then ignore them and decide what you think God would accept.

Perhaps someday you will want to become a Member to help us achieve our objectives. However, you don’t have to be a Member to do that because you may do them on your own. You can be involved anonymously because God is keeping score on what you do in life, not us.

If you need rules to follow, then Private Faith is not for you. I that case, I suggest that you reflect on the things you have done throughout your life, which is difficult to do for many people, like it was for me, and then later consider becoming a Member.

We will not sell, rent or give your information to anyone.

Private Faith’s objectives are,

*   to worship God through live sermons, recorded videos, webinars, online conferences, phone calls, emails, texts and social media;

*   to encourage and promote the study of religious works and teachings; to perform and conduct prayer and worship services;

*   to teach, practice and conduct religious rituals and ceremonies;

*   to foster, advance and promote the practice of the religious beliefs of the church;

*   to organize and conduct religious discussions among the members of this corporation and with other individuals and religious groups;

*   to increase, foster and advance the understanding of religious principals and ideals among others belonging to different faiths;

*   to create and establish programs to further such principles and ideals;

*   to stimulate interest in and foster the religious development of people seeking such instruction;

*   to endeavor to inculcate and maintain high moral and ethical standards in men and women of all ages;

*   to engage in charitable activities and service to benefit the community;

*   to foster a spirit of friendship and benevolence among all people and generally to advance and promote, in word and deed, the spiritual and material welfare of the congregation and its members.

I encourage you to follow your thoughts that you believe come directly from God,

*   to reject any medicine or medical procedure that you think will be harmful or immoral for yourself and your children;

*   to protect yourself and your family from harm;

*   to forgive everyone who have caused you to suffer pain;

*   to thwart activities that you deem as being evil;

*   to re-examine your deeply held convictions that you think are valid and true.

Our promise is…

*   to use no more than 20% of the money we collect through donations and all other sources to pay for all necessary and unavoidable expenses such as office supplies, repairs, payroll and its related taxes, heat, electricity, maintenance, computers, printers, telephone, etc. The remaining 80% will be used to directly support our purpose and to create a non-public, religious, tuition-free, K-12 school that is run exclusively by volunteers;

*   to make available to the public through this website a full and complete financial disclosure. This means we will post our monthly bank statements on this website and the only thing hidden will be the account number and the names of donors unless they want their names revealed. We will only have two accounts - a checking account and a PayPal account. However, if there are substantial donations, we may open an account for investments via well established brokers who handle stocks and bonds and if we do open that kind of account, that too will be made public. We want our donors to know where every penny goes because a full financial disclosure is the only way that that can be done. Why wouldn't we if we have nothing to hide?

Our intention is…

*   to not have any salaries at all or be paid as little as possible, such as the minimum wage, but since this paragraph was written on June 28, 2018 and edited on again on February 27, 2022, those kinds of decisions will be addressed whenever necessary. It is unlikely to be an issue anytime soon since there is practically no money available and there are many other issues to be considered first. The intention here is to tell people that no one will make a lot of money for being part of Private Faith, or to live in a big, beautiful house, or mansion, or estate at Private Faith's expense, or buy property for the use of trustees, volunteers, or clergy (if there will be any people with that title - not sure yet),  or be paid any kind of an allowance to buy personal items or be given a loan or stipend or any other creative way to obtain wealth through Private Faith. Personal financial gain through Private Faith will not be tolerated. (I, John, am the founder and I believe that television evangelicals who live luxurious lives because they collect high salaries from their religions or television shows are deceitful and sinful people.)

*   to discourage as much as possible, personal notoriety for being part of Private Faith. Personal information such as names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the founder, trustees, members, clergy, volunteer teachers, and volunteer support staff will be kept private as much as possible;

*   to one day convince you, if you don’t right now, to believe that God does exist and loves you. For some of you, convincing you of that may be our greatest challenge.

Legal:

On May 9th, 2018 Private Faith became an officially recognized religion formed under the NYS Religious Corporation Law. Our place of worship is on this website, at least for now. (Lawyers and bankers, please click here to view more information regarding NYS law and IRS rules on churches.)
