If you are already part of another religion, then please support it spiritually and financially. You may join us too, but please support them first. However, if you do not belong to a religion, then consider joining us.

The Past

In February 1999 my life changed drastically. It's too long a story to tell now, but what I tried to do for 20 years, until early 2019, was to save Catholic schools and whole parishes from closing. I failed possibly because I was never given a chance to at least try. Perhaps I would have failed anyway. However what I believed would have worked back in early 1999 is what I still believe will work today, 23 years later now on February 27, 2022. Since what I wrote about all that was “vitriolic," regarding the hierarchy’s failures, as one former Vicar of Education once told me it was, I choose not to share that long story now because it would do no good to do so. I will do that someday though, but after I tone it down a bit. I really was treated horribly, but I forgave all of the administrators of all the religions I personally visited years ago.

The Reason Why Private Faith Was Created

I intend to start a religious school that includes all religions. It will be tuition-free or nearly tuition-free. Click here to see more information about the school.

The Difference

The difference between Private Faith and all other religions is there are no rules, Your deeds or misdeeds are accountable to God. It’s all between God and you and because of that, joining us may be the most difficult religion to join because you alone must decide what is good and what is evil. To many people, that may be way too difficult to do because I believe most people need rules to guide them life’s meandering paths between good and evil. If you needs rules, then Private Faith is not for you – at least not today.

Our Finances

You should know now that none of Private Faith's leaders, including me, will gain financially in any way. When we do have employees someday, they are the only ones who will benefit financially, but in a small way. To prove it, our bank statements and all other financial documents may be seen on this website by anyone. I will upload them as often as time allows. As of February 28, 2022, for example, there is $105.00 in Private Faith’s checking account that I donated.

Your Right

You have a right to see how much money comes in and how it is spent. We will never hide our finances from anyone. Why would we? We have nothing to hide! You may not agree with how money was spent, but at least you’ll see what it was spent on. Donations made to Private Faith will not be spent on purchasing or leasing private jets, owning or living in mansions, having lavish lifestyles, or anything like that. No more than 20% will be used to run Private Faith, which includes future salaries of clergy and staff. The remaining 80% will be used to start and run a K-12 school that will be called Private Faith School. It’ll be a school that will be tuition-free or at least nearly tuition-free. Right now, as I write this on May 15, 2020, there is $19.91 in Private Faith’s checking account so how money is spent is not a big concern right now, but someday, I hope it will be because to start a school a lot of money and volunteers are needed and that’s when I think you’ll be more interested to see where the money went.

Why butterflies?

The butterflies represent what the movie, The Butterfly Effect is about even though it used a big chunk of poetic license. It shows scenes that even the smallest of actions have significant results. However, that is not the original meaning. Meteorologist, Edward Lorenz, who came up with the term, “butterfly effect,” according to American Scientist, which is based it on the Chaos Theory in mathematics.1 Lorenz asked a question, “Does the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas?”  I once saw a documentary on the History Channel in May 2020 and it had a good example of the butterfly effect – without using butterflies. It showed what happens to a small, mirror-smooth lake when someone tosses a stone in its middle. The ripple effect traveled throughout the entire lake. It is my opinion that good and bad deeds have the same effect. The idea of using butterflies had no meaning to me at first. Not at all! I just found the images in Corel’s Paint Shop Pro/ I liked the way they looked. Then I stumbled on “butterfly effect” while searching for something else. Time-after-time, I was about to delete the butterfly images, but kept thinking that there was some related meaning to what I intended in starting Private Faith and that I should leave the butterfly images there – and not just one butterfly either, but the many that you see throughout our website. Then one day it came to me. Private Faith’s goal should be to convince people to do good things for others. The effects of doing good is usually immediate for the person doing a good deed, but also effects what occurs in the future, both for the giver again and the receiver. The same goes for the bad things you may do, which does affect every part of you in an equally bad way. I’ll have more to say about that at another time.
